Dear Applicant,
We are happy that you are interested in applying for the 2026 Nashville Alumnae Chapter (NAC) Scholarship. Please read the eligibility criteria and directions in its entirety.
All sections of the application must be completed, or your application will not be considered or accepted.
The deadline to submit the application is Sunday, March 15, 2026. If all criteria are met, you will be notified in April 2026 for an interview.
If selected, each awardee will receive a scholarship award in the amount of $2000. Applicants should check their emails regularly for notifications from the Scholarship Committee.

Additional Criteria:

African American Female Senior Student

Reside in one of the following six (6) counties: Davidson, Cheatham, Robertson, Sumner, Wilson, Williamson

GPA - minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Transcript - should be mailed as a PDF by a school offical to scholarsnac@gmail.com.

Essay - Typed essay with a maximum of three hundred (300-500) words. (See details on application).

Two (2) letters of recommendation - one from a school official of the school you attend and one from a public service organization or a church outreach program in which you have been actively involved.
Recommendations must be on official letterhead of the school, community organization or program, and must be signed in pen/ink - digital signatures are acceptable. Recommendation letters may be emailed as a pdf to scholarsnac@gmail.com by the person writing the letter.
A paid program will not be accepted as an outreach program.
Singing in the choir, serving as an usher, or a greeter at church is also not community service.
Community service is performed OUTSIDE regular church activites. Some possibilities (but not limited to) would be regular participation in a church feeding ministry, a tutoring program, leadership church camp, mentoring programs, and participating in special church committee assignments (AIDS, Breast Cancer Awareness, Homelessness programs).
