1. Pet Supervision & Safety
ALL pets must be secured with a leash, collar, grooming slip lead, or similar restraint at all times while in the Facility.
Pet Owners are solely responsible for the supervision, safety, and control of their pets.
2. Liability for Damages
Owners are fully responsible for ANY damages caused by their pets to the Facility, its equipment, or other pets within the Facility.
Any damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligence in the use of equipment must be paid for in full by the responsible party.
3. Release of Liability
Barks & Bubbles USA LLC, doing business as Barks & Bubbles: Self Wash and Supply, including its owners, employees, agents, representatives, and affiliates, are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, or losses that may occur to pets or owners while on the premises.
By entering and using the Facility, the Pet Owner voluntarily releases Barks & Bubbles USA LLC and its DBA from all liability, claims, or demands arising from the use of the self-wash and supply services, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
4. Emergency Veterinary Care
In the event of a pet emergency while on the premises, Pet Owners are solely responsible for arranging veterinary care and covering all related expenses.

5. Hold Harmless Agreement
The Pet Owner agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Barks & Bubbles USA LLC and its DBA from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including veterinary costs) arising from:
The Pet Owner’s use of the Facility; and/or
The Pet Owner’s decision to seek care at any veterinary clinic, including the suggested clinic listed above; and/or: Any injury, illness, or damage caused in whole or in part by the Pet Owner or their pet(s).
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
7. Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that using a self-service pet washing facility involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: wet and slippery floors; falls; exposure to soaps, shampoos, cleaning agents, and grooming products; noise from dryers; equipment malfunction; allergic reactions; pet bites or scratches; unpredictable behavior from my pet and/or other pets; and the possibility of transmission of parasites, fleas, ticks, or communicable illnesses between animals.
By choosing to use the Facility, I voluntarily assume ALL risks of injury, illness, loss, or damage to myself, my pet(s), or my personal property, whether caused by my own actions, my pet’s actions, the actions of other customers or pets, or the ordinary conditions of operating a self-wash facility.
8. Pet Health, Vaccination & Condition Statement
By using the Facility, I represent and confirm that:
- My pet(s) are in good general health and are not showing signs of contagious or transmissible illness (including but not limited to coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, eye discharge, or skin infection).
- My pet(s) are reasonably free of fleas, ticks, mites, and contagious parasites, and are safe to be around other pets and people.
- My pet(s) are currently vaccinated for rabies as required by law and are not subject to any legal quarantine or bite restrictions.
I understand that Barks & Bubbles may refuse service or require me to immediately remove my pet(s) if staff believes my pet(s) show signs of illness, infestation, or behavior that could endanger others.
9. Bite / Aggression Liability & Behavior Responsibility
I understand pets may act unpredictably in a public environment, especially around water, grooming tools, and unfamiliar people or pets.
I represent that my pet(s) do not have known aggressive tendencies toward people or other animals, or that I have disclosed such tendencies prior to use. I agree that I am solely responsible for controlling my pet(s) at all times, including preventing biting, scratching, lunging, or other behavior that may cause injury or damage.
I assume full liability for any injury or harm caused by my pet(s) to any person, animal, or property, including but not limited to bites, scratches, and any resulting medical, veterinary costs or equipment costs.
10. Personal Property & Valuables Disclaimer
I understand and agree that Barks & Bubbles USA LLC and its DBA are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings while on the premises, including but not limited to phones, wallets, keys, clothing, carriers, leashes, or other valuables. I am solely responsible for supervising my personal property at all times.
11. Equipment Use Disclaimer
I understand that the Facility provides tubs, grooming restraints, hoses, sprayers, dryers, and other equipment for customer use. I agree to use all equipment properly and safely and only as intended.
I acknowledge that improper use of dryers, restraints, grooming tools, and wash stations may result in injury to myself or my pet(s), including but not limited to eye/ear irritation, stress, overheating, or injury caused by entanglement or restraint misuse.
I assume full responsibility for any injury, harm, or loss caused by my failure to follow instructions or posted rules, and I agree that Barks & Bubbles USA LLC and its DBA are not liable for injuries arising from improper equipment use.
I further agree to pay for any equipment damage caused by misuse, negligence, or intentional abuse.
12. Facility Rules, Time Limit & Additional Fees
I agree to follow all posted Facility rules and instructions.
Time Limit: I understand that self-wash use is limited to 30 minutes per pet. If I exceed 30 minutes per pet, I agree that additional time may be charged as an extra fee at the Facility’s posted or stated rate. Barks & Bubbles USA LLC and its DBA reserve the right to:
- refuse service to any person or pet at any time,
- end a washing session early and request the customer leave the Facility if unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, or unsanitary behavior occurs,
- request removal of any pet that appears aggressive, ill, or infested.
13. Photo & Video Release Notice
I acknowledge that photos and/or video recordings may be taken on the premises for business purposes, including security monitoring and marketing.
14. Severability
If any provision of this Waiver is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
