Thank you for your interest in the 2026 West Virginia Strawberry Festival Teen/Queen
Pageant on Saturday, March 14th, 2026. Our pageant has been one of the premier pageants in West Virginia for many decades.
Our Teens and Queens have gone on to become Miss WV Teen USA, Miss WV USA, and Miss WV Association of Fairs and Festivals Queen numerous times. Although the West Virginia Strawberry Festival Teen / Queen Pageant is no longer preliminary to the Miss WV Teen USA or Miss WV USA pageant, the West Virginia Strawberry Festival Association Board of Directors will pay for the 2026 WVSF Teen to compete in Miss WV Teen USA and the 2026 WVSF Queen to compete in Miss WV USA, if they so choose to enter.
The West Virginia Strawberry Festival Association Board of Directors will also appoint an age-appropriate representative to the Miss WV Association of Fairs and Festivals pageant if our Queen is not eligible to compete.
If you have any further questions about the pageant, please contact the Pageant Committee Debra: 304-516-9732 or Johnnie-Jo: 304-613-9053 or email info@wvstrawberryfestival.com

Judging Criteria & Clothing Information:
Rehearsal:
- Clothing for rehearsals should be casual. You may wear sweats, jeans,
running suits, or whatever you feel comfortable in. Wear comfortable shoes, but bring the shoes you will be wearing on stage during the actual competition. So you can practice on stage.
Personal/Business Interview:
- You will appear before the judges in a "panel style". You will stand in front of the judges as they ask you various questions about your personal information page. This is your chance to impress the judges with your opinions, ability to communicate, and overall sense of self. The most important thing to remember is that personal interviews are all about Personality. Let your personality determine what you wear to compete. Wear what you feel would be appropriate for an interview, with this in mind. Have fun...no jeans.
Opening Number:
- You will wear a T–shirt that will be provided by our sponsor/WVSF, along with Blue Jeans and shoes of your choice.
Sense of Style:
- You will need a Sense of Style Completion outfit. It is to be predominantly Black or Red. It can have sequins, rhinestones, or beading. Select shoes you will be able to move in. Jewelry should be appropriate and minimal
Evening Gown:
- You will need one evening gown. Choose your best color, which looks
greats on you and will show well on stage. No single detail of the gown, hair, or makeup should garner attention. The overall effect should be you and your style of elegance.
