  • LA Pride Village is the free street festival adjacent to the LA Pride Parade. Tens of thousands of Parade goers pour into the Village after the Parade, or make it their one destination during LA Pride.

  • READ BEFORE SUBMITTING- PARTICIPATION RULES & REGULATIONS:

    1. LA Pride is a safe space event for all ages. Nudity, obscenity, harassment, bullying, pranking, and aggressive, intoxicated, or altered behaviors are all strictly prohibited.
    2. Drug and alcohol use by operators, staff, crew, or volunteers is strictly prohibited.
    3. Throwing, tossing, or launching any items into crowd, or at a person is strictly prohibited due to safety and insurance reasons.
      • Violations will result in immediate expulsion with no refund.
    4. We strongly discourage printed giveaway items: Flyers, leaflets, business cards, paper coupons make up the vast bulk of litter on the street.
    5. Pets and Animal Policy: Pets are not allowed. The festival is extremely crowded and noisy, and summer temperatures can be very warm. Please leave your pets at home.
      • Service animals are allowed, only as defined by the Americans with Disability Act.
      • Service animals must be insured by their owner(s) against liability claims.
      • CSW, its staff, producers, agents, contractors, and assigns are not responsible for the safety, well-being, health, or care of any service animals, nor responsible for any injury or damage caused by a service animal.
    6. Third-party sponsorship, advertising or sharing of booths is prohibited.
    7. Booth trash and debris must not be left behind at the end of the event.
      • Anyone identified as leaving large amount of trash/debris will be subject to fines and barred from future festivals.
    8. CSW, staff, and event producers reserve the right to eject violators without refund.
    9. All laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the City and County of Los Angeles, and any written or verbal directives (e.g. street signs, festival signs, directives from LA Pride staff) must be complied with.

    As an authorized applicant for your organization and its participating members, I/we hereby agree to accept the risk of bodily injury and/or property damage to our parties, or a third party as a result of my/our participation in the LA Pride Parade and/or Pride Village Festival.

    I/we agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Christopher Street West Association, Inc., the City of Los Angeles, and their respective officers, employees, producers, agents, contractors, crew, and volunteers from and against any and all causes of actions, claims, losses, injuries, suits, demands and judgments arising from, or in any way relating to my/our participation, presence, or operation at the events and/or is the result of my/our gross negligence or willful misconduct (including all expenses of litigation and reasonable attorney fees).

    I/we grant an unconditional release for all media rights, including video and photography by virtue of our appearance or presence, throughout the universe, in perpetuity.

    (State of California Agencies exempt from indemnification and hold harmless as self-insured for liability with valid workers compensation.)
