Diploma Student of the Year

The Diploma Student of the Year award category recognises students who have demonstrated advanced professional capability through their training, applying specialist skills, sound judgment, and leadership to take a strategic, high-level approach in their role. These students drive innovation, influence decision-making, and deliver significant, measurable value to their employer or team, making a meaningful contribution to organisational performance and long-term success.

The nominee must have completed one of the following nationally accredited training packages between 1 June 2025 - 13 May 2026:

• Diploma of Civil Construction Management, or
• Diploma of Project Management

1. The employer must have adhered to their training contract with Civil Train (RTO #5708).
   
   
2. Only one (1) nomination per category, per organisation will be accepted, in order of submission date.
   
   
3. Nominations may be marked down if:
   • The submission exceeds the word limit set per criterion, or
   • The submission does not address each criterion.

All nominations must be formally approved by the nominee's employer or authorised representitive by signing this form.

All finalists should be available to attend the Excellence in Civil Construction Awards, held Friday 7 August 2026.

All nominations must be submitted by the closing date listed in the Key Dates section of this form.

If an extension is required, it must be requested prior to the closing date. Late submissions without prior approval will not be accepted. CCF QLD does not guarantee approval of an extension at any time.

• Responses should be limited to 200 words per question.

• Each nomination must include a signed letter of endorsement from the nominee’s employer. Please do not contact Civil Train for supporting letters, as trainers are involved in the judging process.

• Additional supporting materials, e.g. references, are strongly recommended and should be uploaded within this form (page 10).

• Ensure all personal information provided is accurate, as it will be used on all materials pertaining to the award.

• By submitting this signed nomination form, both the Nominee and Employer give CCF QLD permission to use and publish any photographs or video footage provided.

Finalists and their guests for the People's Awards categories must purchase their event ticket/s prior to the RSVP date if they wish to attend the awards night via the CCF QLD website when they become available.
