These Kiddos want YOU!
Junior Guides Raft Camp is a fun educational rafting adventure, especially for our youngest campers; the 'DUCKS' who are age 6-9 years old. Camp Counselors will raft with Duck campers on the mild class 2 section of the American River, known as the 'Tom Sawyer' float. It's anything but mild, with wild seven year olds who need to be reminded to keep their feet up, don't dive, and for goodness, sake, stay hydrated! Camp counselors assist commerical river guides with safety and supervision of fun educational and crafts. Successful applicants will participate in a group zoom call with all the camp counselors and will need to watch approximately 30 minutes of online video regarding whitewater rafting and child development.

We seek 2 or 3 counselors in each of 8 sessions.
Successful candidates are expected to like kids, tolerate heat and water, be mature, collaborative, and accountable. Rafting experience NOT required.
