PARTICIPATION & CONSIDERATION
I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older, or that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any activity, workshop, experience or event conducted by DIY Invasion (“the Activities”), I agree to be bound by the terms of this Waiver.

I understand that participation would not be permitted unless I agree to this Waiver.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
I acknowledge that participation in DIY Invasion activities involves inherent risks, which may include but are not limited to personal injury, slips, trips or falls, property damage, and exposure to paint, resin, tools, equipment, chemicals, materials, or other participants.

I understand that some activities may involve messy, wet or slippery environments, physical movement, or the use of tools and equipment.

I voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and forever discharge DIY Invasion, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers and legal representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of action arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Activities.

This release includes claims for personal injury, death or property damage, whether such loss, damage or injury is caused wholly or partly by the negligence of DIY Invasion.

RECREATIONAL SERVICES DISCLAIMER (QUEENSLAND)
I acknowledge that the Activities provided by DIY Invasion are recreational services as defined under the Civil Liability Act 2003 (Qld).

To the extent permitted by law, I agree that DIY Invasion is excluded from liability for death or personal injury arising from the failure to exercise reasonable care and skill in providing those recreational services.

INDEMNITY
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless DIY Invasion from and against any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in connection with my participation in the Activities.

FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE
I declare that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the Activities and do not have any medical condition, injury or disability that would make participation unsafe.

I understand that it is my responsibility to seek medical advice if I am unsure of my fitness to participate.

CHILDREN & GUARDIANS (WHERE APPLICABLE)
Where the participant is under 18 years of age, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant and consent to their participation.

I agree to this Waiver on behalf of the minor and accept full responsibility for the minor’s participation.

I agree to indemnify DIY Invasion against any claims made by or on behalf of the minor.

FULL & FINAL AGREEMENT
I confirm that I have read and understood this Waiver in full.

I understand that by agreeing to this Waiver, I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue.

I agree that this Waiver is contractual, legally binding and enforceable.

I acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice before agreeing to this Waiver.

GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia.
