  • Do you still want to be considered for a place on a Music course at Priestley?*
  • I no longer wish to be considered for a place on the Music Course at Priestley.

  • Do you still wish to keep your place at Priestley College to study other subjects at Priestley College starting in September 2025
  • Our admissions department will be in touch to discuss your application and any changes you wish to make. You do not need to complete any further questions. Thank you.

  • Which music course/s do you hope to study on at Priestley?*
  • Is this exactly the same choice that you made during your interview at Priestley College? You can check your offer form for details of what was recorded at the interview.
  • Are you studying any Music or Performing Arts Courses at School? Tick any that apply.
  • More about you

  • How long have you been SERIOUSLY learning or playing or performing on your main instrument (including vocals)? This is the instrument that you would be playing for assessment as part of any performance courses at Priestley.
  • Music Technology Experience

Have you ever made music with computers?
  • You may not think this is relevant if you have chosen to study just RSL Music Performance Single Option. However it's still useful information for us to find out. All of our courses invlove some level of music technology even if it's just now and again.

Music Production Single Option, Double Music, Triple Music and A Level music all involve the creation of music using technology on a regular basis.

  • Have you used software to write and produce music before? Tick the options that you think apply to you.
  • Have you had any experience of using these music apps? Tick any that you have used to make music in the past.
  • Instruments

What instruments do you play and to what level?
  • If you are applying for Music Production single option it's possible that you don't actually play any instruments. Of course it's also quite possible that you do. Either way, it's helpful for us to know.

  • If you are applying to A level Music, Music Performance Single Option, Double Music or Triple Music then you will be required to play an instrument or sing as part of the course.

  • Which of these instruments can you play to a good standard?
  • Instrumental lessons. Choose the option which best describes you:
  • Have you ever taken any graded music PERFORMANCE exams such as ABSRM, Rockschool, Trinity etc?
  • Have you ever taken any Music Theory Exams? This does not include GCSE music. It means ABRSM Graded theory exams or similar exams from other exam boards such as LCM, RSL and Trinity
