    Date: February 18-19, 2026

    I, the undersigned participant (or parent/legal guardian if the participant is under the age of 18), voluntarily agree to participate in and/or attend the The Hogue Foundation College Tour, which includes travel to and from multiple college campuses within New York State and includes overnight lodging (the “College Tour”), organized by The Hogue Foundation (“THF”).

    I understand and agree as follows:

    1. Voluntary Participation & Non-Employment
    I acknowledge that my participation in the College Tour is voluntary. I understand that I am not an employee, agent, or representative of THF and that THF does not provide medical, accident, or liability insurance coverage for participants.

    2. Assumption of Risk
    I understand that participation in the College Tour involves inherent risks, including but not limited to transportation risks, overnight lodging, physical activity, interactions with others, and unforeseen circumstances. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with participating in the College Tour.

    3. Health & Medical Representation
    I certify that I am physically and mentally able to participate in the College Tour and know of no medical condition that would prevent my participation. I agree to assume full responsibility for my health and safety during the College Tour.

    In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize THF and its representatives to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf. I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical care received.

    4. Conduct & Responsibility
    I agree to conduct myself in a respectful and responsible manner at all times during the College Tour and to comply with all instructions, rules, and policies established by THF. I understand that failure to follow rules or instructions may result in removal from the College Tour at my own or my parent/guardian’s expense.

    5. Release of Liability & Indemnification
    To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Hogue Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the College Tour, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, illness, disability, or death, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of THF.

    I further agree to indemnify and defend THF against any claims arising from my actions or conduct during the College Tour.

    6. Transportation & Overnight Stay Acknowledgment
    I understand that the College Tour includes group transportation and overnight accommodations. I voluntarily accept the risks associated with travel and lodging and agree that THF is not responsible for incidents beyond its reasonable control.

    7. Photo & Media Release
    I grant THF permission to use photographs, video recordings, or other media images of me taken during the College Tour for non-commercial promotional and educational purposes, including use on THF’s website, social media, print materials, or other media outlets. I understand that no compensation will be provided for such use.

    8. Acknowledgment & Agreement
    I confirm that I have read this agreement carefully, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms. I understand that this agreement is binding and that by signing below, I am giving up certain legal rights.

    If the participant is under the age of 18, the undersigned parent or legal guardian agrees to all terms of this release on behalf of the minor participant.

  • Code of Conduct & Social Media Expectations

  • Participation in The Hogue Foundation College Tour is a privilege. All students are expected to represent themselves, their families, and The Hogue Foundation with maturity, responsibility, and respect.

    By participating in the College Tour, I agree to the following expectations:

    1. Respectful Conduct
    I will treat fellow students, staff, volunteers, college representatives, hotel staff, drivers, and members of the public with respect at all times. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, discriminatory behavior, or inappropriate language—online or in person—will not be tolerated.

    2. Compliance & Supervision
    I agree to follow all schedules, curfews, safety guidelines, and instructions given by The Hogue Foundation staff and chaperones. I understand that this is a supervised group experience and that I may not leave designated areas or activities without permission.

    3. Substance-Free Expectation
    The possession or use of alcohol, illegal drugs, controlled substances, vaping devices, or tobacco products is strictly prohibited at all times during the College Tour. Violation of this expectation may result in immediate removal.

    4. Overnight & Shared Space Expectations
    I will respect hotel rules, quiet hours, roommates, and shared spaces. Unauthorized room changes, visitors, or disruptive behavior are prohibited. I understand that failure to follow overnight expectations may result in disciplinary action.

    5. Social Media Use & Online Conduct
    Students are permitted to use social media during the College Tour; however, the following expectations apply:

    -I will not post content that is inappropriate, harmful, misleading, disrespectful, or that reflects negatively on The Hogue Foundation, participating colleges, staff, or other students.
    -I will not post photos, videos, or recordings of others without their consent.
    -I will not share private information, locations in real time, or content that compromises group safety.
    -I understand that online behavior is subject to the same standards as in-person behavior.
    -THF reserves the right to request removal of content that violates these expectations.

    6. Property Responsibility
    I will respect college campuses, lodging facilities, vehicles, and all property used during the College Tour. I understand that I (or my parent/guardian) may be financially responsible for any damage caused by my actions.

    7. Consequences of Violations
    I understand that failure to follow this Code of Conduct or the expectations outlined above may result in disciplinary action, including immediate removal from the College Tour, at the participant’s or parent/guardian’s expense, without refund.

    Acknowledgment
    By signing , I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Code of Conduct and Social Media Expectations and agree to comply as a condition of participation in The Hogue Foundation College Tour.
