Applicable to teams participating in Shangri-La Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships:

 

I, all participating team members, and the organization we represent, each understand that by engaging in the activities relating to the Shangri-La Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships (“Event”), we may be exposed to various risks including but not limited to risk of physical harm, injury, death and loss of property.

Each of us voluntarily accept and assume all risks in connection with our participation in the Event, and hereby discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Stanley Residents Association, Shangri-La Group (being Shangri-La Asia Limited and its subsidiaries), as well as any other individuals or organizations connected directly or indirectly with the Event from all liability arising from harm, injury, death and loss of property incurred during, as a consequence of, or while travelling to and from the Event, first-aid or emergency treatment, and/or otherwise arising from our participation in Event-related activities.

By signing this Waiver Form, I confirm that:

A. I am the duly appointed manager of the team with authority to bind each participating team member to the terms of this document and have provided a copy of this waiver to all participating team members.

B. All participating team members are at least 18 years old and have read, understood and agreed to all guidelines, rules and regulations of the Organizer and the Event as in force from time to time.

C. All participating team members are physically and mentally fit to take part in Event-related races, practices and other activities.

D. Any participating team member that does not comply with items (A) to (C) above will not be permitted to participate in Event-related activities.

We voluntarily accept and assume all risks in connection with our participation in the Events and practices, and hereby discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Stanley Residents Association and any other individuals or organizations connected directly or indirectly with the Events and practices from all liability arising from harm, injury, death and loss of property incurred during, as a consequence of, or while travelling to and from the Events, travelling to and from practice, first-aid or emergency treatment, and/or otherwise arising from my participation in Events-related activities and practices.

By signing this Waiver Form, we confirm that:

A) we have read, understood and agree to comply with all guidelines, rules and regulations of the Organizer and the Events as in force from time to time; and

B) we physically and mentally fit to take part in Events, practices and other activities.
