Caregiver Burnout Workshop on January 15 at 6-7PM
Caring for a loved one can be rewarding—but it can also be overwhelming. This workshop will focus on caregiver burnout, offering practical and compassionate support for those providing care.
Participants will learn:
- The science behind caregiver burnout
- Common signs and symptoms to watch for
- Tips and strategies to prevent and manage burnout
- What self-care really means and how to realistically incorporate it into daily life
Circle of Support for Caregivers on January 28 from 6-7PM in partnership with the Alzheimer Society Peel
This interactive workshop is designed to support caregivers and those wanting to better understand dementia.
Together with the Alzheimer Society, we will explore:
- The warning signs of dementia versus normal aging
- How to recognize when additional support may be needed
- Lifestyle strategies that may help lower the risk of developing dementia
- Resources and support available for caregivers
This session provides education, reassurance, and connection for anyone impacted by dementia.
