  • DDH 2026: Workshop Registration

  • Every year, Disability Day on the Hill brings together advocates, families, and organizations from across Tennessee to speak up for disability rights and inclusion. It’s a time for us, the Tennessee disability community, to come together, share our stories, and meet with lawmakers about the issues that matter most to our community.

To prepare for DDH 2026, please join us weekly for our virtual workshops leading up to the big day.

Please register to receive pre-workshop emails, information, and the workshop recording.

Please email Carrie at Carrie_c@tndisability.org if you need assistance.

American Sign Language (ASL) and Captions will be available for each workshop.

    • What is Disability Day on the Hill (DDH)?
    • Learn what to expect and how to participate, whether you’re joining us virtually or in person.
    • Connecting with Your Legislators
How to find your state legislators, request meetings, and make the most of those conversations.
    • Tracking Legislation
    • A practical walkthrough of how to follow bills that impact the disability community.
    • Navigating the Cordell Hull Building
What your day will look like, including parking, accessibility features (like adult-sized changing tables), and an updated POV video of “Your Day at DDH.”
    • Leave-Behinds 101
What leave-behinds are, why they’re so important, and tips for creating effective ones.
    • Each session will feature past DDH participants sharing real-world experiences and insights, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
    • We’ll wrap up the workshops with a panel discussion to bring it all together and give you space to learn from one another.
