    Overview The College of Health Services and Careers (CHSC) is proud to offer two competitive scholarships to support students who demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to service, and a passion for healthcare careers. Only one student will be selected per scholarship. Important Financial Note: All student account balances must be current and in good standing. Any remaining balance after scholarship funds are applied must be paid according to CHSC financial policies. Applicants may apply for one or both scholarships, provided eligibility requirements are met.

  • Founders Scholarship Application

    Award: 50% of Tuition: Eligible Programs: 16-week programs - 24-week programs. Eligibility Requirements: Must be enrolled in an eligible 16- or 24-week program Must complete and submit this scholarship application by the deadline Volunteer Service: Minimum of 24 hours (proof of participation required) Essay Required (see Essay Section below) Must maintain a minimum grade average of 92% or higher Must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 90% Must attend all required school events Selection: One (1) student will be awarded the Founders Scholarship.
  • President’s Scholarship Application

    Award: $250 – $500 : Eligible Programs: 8-week programs 16-week programs 24-week programs Eligibility Requirements: Must be enrolled in an eligible 8-, 16-, or 24-week program Must complete and submit this scholarship application by the deadline Volunteer Service: Minimum of 16 hours (proof of participation required) Essay Required (see Essay Section below) Must maintain a minimum grade average of 85% or higher Must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 90% Must attend at least one (1) school event Selection: One (1) student will be awarded the President’s Scholarship.

    Founders Scholarship Essay: Applicants applying for the Founders Scholarship must submit a typed essay of 1,000 words Typed, double-spaced Applicant name and scholarship name on the first page The Essay needs to address all of the following topics: 1. Why you chose your current program of study 2. Your personal statement or mission 3. Your short-term and long-term career goals 4. Your motivation and passion for the healthcare field 5. Your commitment to serving others and the community.

Why you chose your current program of study 2.Your personal statement or mission 3.Your short-term and long-term career goals 4.Your motivation and passion for the healthcare field 5.Your commitment to serving others and the community
