The President's Award Nomination Form
The President’s Award recognizes the successful efforts of a geographic area team, like a Service Team, in moving its assigned audience or area toward achievement of the council’s goals during a membership year. If approved, the award will be presented to all of the listed team members at the GSME Annual Celebration in the spring. For Application: Complete and submit an application form with four letters of endorsement below, to be shared with the GSME recognitions committee for confidential review. Approved by the GSME Board of Directors.

General Responsibilities for Nomination: You are submitting this nomination in agreement with at least one GSME staff member and at least one volunteer indicates your team has met these criteria:
It takes a full year to complete this award and the criteria was built into the plan for success
The nomination reflects work done in the prior membership year ending 9/30
Service teams may earn this award yearly or multiple years, a nomination form must be submitted each time to show how they have met the criteria.
Both a team member and staff member must support the nomination and will work together to gather information
Criteria for selection
All team members are registered Girl Scouts
All team members have completed appropriate training
The team required reports and communication on time
The team maintains ongoing communication with each other and with troops
The team maintains communication with Juliettes
Delivery of Girl Scout program in the area results in renewal of 70% of members
Team cultivates contacts in the community
Overall girl membership has reached or surpassed the goal set by the team
The composition of the team reflects the diversity of the area/audience
The team models the principles embodied by the promise and law
The team supports the Girl Scout mission
