New England PGA Professional Grant Program
  • New England PGA Professional Grant Program

  • The New England PGA Foundation, (doing business as PGA REACH New England), is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening local communities by investing directly in impactful golf specific programs and initiatives. Through our PGA Professional Grant Program, the foundation provides financial support to New England PGA Members and Associates to expand access, opportunity, and positive outcomes for individuals or groups interested in the sport of golf.
Our Board of Directors believes in removing financial barriers and empowering NEPGA Professionals to align with our foundation pillars and grow the game and positively impact lives. The Grant Program is designed to help launch new initiatives, sustain essential services, and create meaningful, long-term impact. The Board of Directors believes grant awards foster collaboration, and builds a stronger, more resilient community.

  • Our Process

NEPGA Professionals in good standing may request funds to create, sustain or bring back a golf specific program within the boundaries of the New England Section. Applicants must apply online, and all applications will be reviewed by the foundation’s Board of Directors.
Generally accepted and approved Expense Items include Professional Honorariums ($50 per hour), Golf Course Fees, Golf Car Fees, Practice or Range Fees and Golf Equipment.
NEPGA Professionals may request up to a maximum of $2,000 for a program. All funds or reimbursements will be made by PGA Reach New England to either the PGA Professional or the facility, for a maximum of two occurrences. On a case-by-case basis and if approved by the foundation Board of Directors, applications may be accepted beyond the two occurrences.

  • Branding Requirements

The PGA REACH New England logo should be displayed in conjunction with all marketing materials used to promote the program. Phrases like “Supported by” and “Partnering With” are examples of tag lines to be used alongside the foundation logo.
Should the accepting organization or individual have other supporting partners, we must be made aware of those relationships prior to the application process. Co-branding the PGA REACH New England logo with other entities is permitted but needs to be cleared with foundation Board to ensure that the foundation image is held in accordance with the standards set by the New England Section PGA, the PGA of America, and the NEPGA Membership.

  • Media Requirements

~ Provide a minimum of (5) high resolution photographs for use promoting the foundation and its programs.

The accepting PGA Professional agrees to utilize social media posts on accepted platforms to promote the program. Our foundation will supply a “Media Release Form” if desired. All forms must be submitted either digitally or physically.

  • Reporting Requirements

The accepting organization or individual agrees to submit a report outlining, but not limited to, the dates and times the program was held, the target audience, the number of regular participants, any local media exposure, a financial breakdown of the program upon completion, and samples of any marketing materials used.
All media and reporting requirements must be submitted back to the foundation within one (1) month of the end or close of the supported program.
