Terms & Conditions & Liability
1. Hire Period
The standard hire period is 7 days. Extended hire may incur additional charges. $15.00 PER DAY
2. Payment
All hire fees must be paid before delivery unless agreed otherwise. Extra charges apply for overweight bins, extended hire, hazardous waste, or failed pickup due to access issues.
By providing card details, you authorise us to process payment for any outstanding balance if payment is not received by the due date. If payment cannot be successfully processed due to insufficient funds or invaild details, the account may be referred to a debt collection agency and/or legal action may be taken to recover the outstanding amount, including any associated recovery costs.
3. Waste Restrictions
Prohibited items: asbestos, chemicals, paint, oils, liquids, gas bottles, flammable materials, food waste, batteries, electrical items, tyres or mattresses (unless pre-arranged). An additional charge of $80.00 to $350.00 will apply
4. Weight Limits
Each skip has a maximum weight allowance. Exceeding limits may incur additional fees.
5. Placement & Access
Customers must ensure clear access for delivery/pickup. Council permits required for placement on public land.
6. Safety & Use
Customer agrees not to overload above rim, move the skip, or place fires/dangerous goods inside the skip.
7. Liability
Peninsula Skips is not responsible for injuries, damages to driveways, footpaths, kerbs, paving, lawns, underground services, or other property on delivery and collection.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peninsula Skips accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage to property occurring during the delivery, placement, or collection of skip bins, except where caused by proven negligence.
8. Extra Charges
For safety and transport reasons, bins must not be overfilled. An additional charge of $110.00 will apply to overfilled bins.
