Europe is the world’s most popular travel destination — rich in cultures, landscapes, and stories that bring us together. But tourism goes beyond leisure and discovery: it revitalises rural towns, strengthens communities, and supports nature restoration. Tourism helps Europe thrive.
Our exhibition, "Tourism for Europe, Europe for Tourism", celebrates exactly this. Through stories from European destinations, it showcases how the travel sector can give back: supporting what we cherish, enriching communities, and shaping a more sustainable and inclusive future for Europe.
We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition at the European Parliament in Brussels, hosted by the European Travel Commission (ETC) together with MEPs Daniel Attard (S&D, Malta) and Nikolina Brnjac (EPP, Croatia).
The exhibition will be officially opened by Apostolos Tzitzikostas, EU Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism.
🗓️ Date: Monday, 26 January
