Weekly Lesson Program Policy Acknowledgment
Summit Equestrian Club operates as a private, membership-based equestrian club. Weekly lesson tuition secures a consistent, reserved lesson time, horse, instructor, and staff support. This structure allows us to maintain proper horse care, impeccable facilities, staff scheduling, and a high-quality experience for all members.
By enrolling, I understand and acknowledge the following:
- My weekly lesson is scheduled at the same day and time each week for the duration of my program.
- Lesson times remain consistent and do not vary week to week.
- Horses and staff are cared for daily, regardless of lesson attendance.
- Tuition reserves a weekly lesson time and is not calculated on a per-lesson basis.
- Missed lessons are not refundable and may not be banked or carried forward.
Makeup Lesson Courtesy Policy
As a courtesy, the Club offers limited makeup lessons to provide flexibility within a structured program.
Riders are eligible for one (1) makeup lesson per six-month period, provided at least twenty- four (24) hours’ notice is given for the missed lesson. Makeup lessons are limited to a maximum of two (2) per year.
Makeup lessons are offered only during designated Makeup Weeks, are subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Unused makeup eligibility does not carry forward beyond each six- month period or the rider’s active program term.
