Weekly Lesson Program Policy Acknowledgment
Summit Equestrian Club operates as a private, membership-based equestrian club. Weekly lesson tuition secures a consistent, reserved lesson time, horse, instructor, and staff support. This structure allows us to maintain proper horse care, impeccable facilities, staff scheduling, and a high-quality experience for all members.
By enrolling, I understand and acknowledge the following:
- A standing weekly lesson time is the foundation of our lesson program and is strongly encouraged for all members. We understand that work, travel, and personal commitments may occasionally require scheduling adjustments, and we will do our best to accomodate those requests when availablility permits. However, members should expect to maintain a regular weekly lesson schedule whenever possible, as consistency supports rider progress, horse welfare, and effective instructor scheduling. All lessons attended - including regularly scheduled lessons, additional lessons, and approved make-up lessons - are deducted from the member's lesson package balance.
- Horses and staff are cared for daily, regardless of lesson attendance.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered missed lessons and are not eligible for a makeup.
- Make-up lessons must be completed within the member's lesson commitment period (either 9 or 12 months).
