In the event that we cannot be reached at the time of illness or accident, or the emergency is such that time does not permit such contact, we authorize Riverbend Christian School to take our child, Child's Full Name* , to the closest adequate medical facility where a licensed physician may treat the child.

We also authorize reasonable emergency steps necessary to preserve life or limbs of the child if otherwise qualified medical assistance is not available.

In the event of allergic reaction, we authorize the staff of Riverbend Christian School to administer Benadryl to our child.

I recognize that RBCS uses brightwheel for communication and agree to download the app so that I can stay informed about my child's learning and school information. I also recognize that I am responsible for checking my child in/out each day utilizing the app. I acknowledge with my signature below.*

We agree that our child may attend Riverbend Christian School from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. When the children is brought to school, he/she will be left in the presence of a staff member and will be released only to the parents or to those who the parents have provided written authorization to pick up the child. Tuition & Fees

I understand there is a non-refundable registration fee of $300 per child. I understand this fee is required to enroll for the 2026-2027 school year and must be paid in order to secure my child's spot during enrollment. In addition, I understand that I will be billed a non-refundable supply fee of $200 per child, which will be due no later than August 5th.

In the event that I decide to withdraw my child for any reason, I agree to provide a written notice to the school office at least 30 days in advance. I understand that May 2027 tuition is due by June 5, 2026 or at the time of enrollment (whichever comes later) and will be used to satisfy the 30-day notice policy before any refund is given. I understand that August 1st starts the 30-day withdrawal period before the beginning of the school year to receive a full refund of the deposit, even if my child doesn't attend. I further understand that if I choose to withdraw my child and their last day falls after March 1, 2027, that I will forfeit the May Deposit and cannot be refunded or use it for my child's final 30 days of attendance.

I understand that future tuition payments are due on the first of each month, September through April, and that late fees at the rate of 10% will apply for late payment and for late pick up should I fail to pick up my child by 1:30 p.m.

I understand payments must be made via brightwheel, and I can pay from my bank account FREE of charge (credit cards result in additional fees). Further, I understand that placement of my child is up to the administration.

Required Forms

I understand that additional paperwork is required before the first day of attendance for my child to attend RBCS. I will provide a record of my child's immunizations, Pick Up Authorizations and the Child Information Sheet before my child's first date of attendance.

I understand that if my child has an allergy, I am required to provide an Allergy Action plan and any emergency medication before my child can be left in care.

If my child is 4 years or older on September 1, 2026, I understand that I will need to have my child tested for Vision & Hearing during the calendar year 2026 and provide records to the school or participate in the school's screening day.

My child has been examined within the past year by a health professional and is able to participate in a child care program. I will obtain a health care professional's signed statement and will submit it to the child care operation.

Snack & Lunch

Parents are to send a nutritious snack and lunch each day. Riverbend Christian School is not responsible for its nutritional value or for meeting the child's daily food needs, however, nutritious foods are encouraged. Children under the age of 12 months may bring baby bottles and jarred baby food. Toddlers should bring finger foods cut into bite-size pieces and spill-proof cups. Riverbend Christian School reserves the right to remove any foods they feel might be a choking hazard.

For the safety of all children in our program, Riverbend Christian School is a NUT FREE environment and I agree not to bring nuts or nut products into the school buildings. Sunbutter and granola butter is permitted and should be labeled as such.

Photo Release

The Riverbend Christian School staff will take photos of the children during daily activities and during special events to share with the classroom families in print and/or by email/web/brightwheel app and to use for different projects to showcase your child's school year at RBCS. These photos may also be used on photo slide shows, on the school website (www.rbcschool.com) and in marketing materials for the school, which may include Facebook (www.facebook.com/rbcschoolatx), and may be posted in the classroom. When these photos are used on the web, at no time will children's names or other identifying information be included.

By signing below, I acknowledge the Photo Release and grant full permission for the staff of Riverbend Christian School to take and share photos of my child. I understand that I can choose to not have my child's photo shared outside of the school, such as marketing materials and web, and only share my child's photo within the class group by checking 'Opt Out of Public Sharing' below.
Check the box below if you are opting out of public sharing. By selecting the box, you are granting permission for your child's teacher to share your child's photo by posting in the classroom and with classroom parents through brightwheel and other means for the purpose of documenting activities in the classroom. However, your child's photo will not be used by school administration for slide shows, marketing, or on the internet when advertising the school's events or activities. Please note: Other parents and school guests, particularly during special events, may take photos of your child and RBCS cannot be held responsible.

Water Play

I understand that during the school year there may be opportunities for my child to participate in water play that could include water tables, sprinklers, buckets of water or foam machine. I grant permission for my child to participate in water play activities during the 2026-2027 school year.

I understand that due to safety, RBCS does not allow wading pools, swimming pools or other water activities in which a lifejacket or swimming skills would be needed.

Fundraising & Special Events

Our school is funded with a combination of tuition and philanthropic gifts. The tuition we receive from families does not fully cover the operating costs of the school, and it is through your generous gifts that allow us to continue expanding the educational resources and play areas available to our children. Profits from our fundraisers and monetary donations are used to support our mission of providing an exceptional early childhood education program for our children.

There will be many opportunities for parents to become involved in the school through fundraising and other special events. Parent participation is crucial to the success of these events. Riverbend Christian School, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
