Private Membership Agreement
Initiation Fee: $6,500 (One-Time, Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable)
This Private Membership Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into by and between Summit Farm Corp., doing business as Summit Equestrian Club, with an address of 24 Bloomer Rd., North Salem, NY 10560 (the “Club”), and the undersigned individual (the “Member”), and is effective as of the date of execution set forth below.
1. Initiation Fee
Upon acceptance into membership, Member agrees to pay a one-time initiation fee of $6,500. The initiation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be paid prior to activation of membership privileges. The initiation fee does not apply toward monthly dues or other fees.
2. Membership Access & Privileges
Membership grants the Member full access to the Club and its facilities, amenities, and designated common areas during normal operating hours, subject to Club rules, policies, availability, and scheduling. Amenities may include riding facilities, lounge spaces, educational programming, and monthly social events. The Club reserves the right to modify amenities or programming at its discretion.
3. Events & Guest Speakers
Membership includes access to regularly scheduled social and educational events. Certain events, workshops, clinics, or presentations featuring outside professionals or guest speakers may require an additional participation fee, which will be disclosed in advance.
4. Monthly Dues & Payment Terms
Monthly membership dues are $300 and are billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis in advance. An approved payment method must be kept on file. Failure to maintain current payment may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges.
5. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable
All initiation fees, monthly dues, and additional fees are non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of usage, attendance, or early termination. Membership privileges may not be assigned, transferred, or shared.
6. Club Policies & Conduct
Member agrees to comply with all Club rules, policies, and standards of conduct. The Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund for conduct deemed detrimental to the Club, its members, staff, horses, or property.
7. Assumption of Risk
Member acknowledges that equestrian activities involve inherent risks and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation, whether mounted or unmounted.
8. Termination
The Club reserves the right to terminate membership at its discretion. Termination does not entitle the Member to any refund of fees paid.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
