SCIRA MAJOR REGATTAS BID FORM
Application to host a SCIRA Major Championship is made by completing this Bid Form in full and submitting it to the SCIRA Office. All SCIRA Major Championships are required to be organized in full conformity with the SCIRA Rules of Conduct for National and International Events. Therefore, this Bid Form should be completed only after reading: The SCIRA Rules of Conduct for National and International Events; The SCIRA Measurement Manual, the relevant Deed of Gift and The Class Rules. All documents are available from the Executive Director and are posted on the SCIRA Website.

To be valid, this application shall be signed by the authorized representative of the Organizing Authority agreeing to the following:

1. Once a bid is successfully selected, the details entered onto this Bid Form become binding and no major variations shall be tolerated.

2. The SCIRA Event Agreement shall be signed immediately thereafter, including some or all information in this bid.

4. Twelve (12) months in advance of the championship, the SCIRA Board shall confirm all previously selected host venue. At this time, Organizers may be required to submit a detailed event budget to SCIRA.

5. No changes will be permitted from the previously ratified bid except under the terms described in the SCIRA Event Agreement, and significant change may be regarded as breach of agreement with the Class and will release SCIRA from any obligation to hold the event at the venue chosen.

THIS COMPLETED FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED NOT LATER THAN JUNE 30th TWO YEARS BEFORE THE EVENT TO BE HOSTED.
