  • 2026 High School Scholarship Application 

    Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

    North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter

    North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter (NCTA) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has developed scholarships to give back to local communities by offering financial assistance to distinguished, graduating high school students pursuing higher education.  NCTA will award scholarships on a competitive basis to qualified applicants.


    Deadline: Friday, March 20, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. CST 
    Paper applications will not be accepted.  All applications and supporting documents shall be submitted through the electronic portal.  Late applications or late submission of supporting documentation will not be considered and your application will be deemed incomplete.

    Scholarship Guidelines 

    • Class of 2026 Graduating Senior attending a high school within NCTA’s service area or associated school district (Bedford, Blue Mound, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Justin, Keller, Lake Worth, North Richland Hills, Roanoke, Saginaw, Southlake, and Watauga)
    • Minimum of 2.75 unweighted cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale 
    • Accepted into an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university for Fall 2026
    • An official high school transcript
    • Involvement in extracurricular activities 
    • Community Service 
    • Demonstrated leadership 
    • Submit complete application

    1. Complete the online application.
    2. Submit official high school transcript. (electronically submitted) 
    3. Upload one essay.

    The scholarship is a one-time award and awardees will be notified of the award amount if selected. 

    Method of Distribution:

    • The scholarship will be released to the college or university.  The awardee must provide a verification of enrollment before the release of funds. 
    • Documentation should state the student's ID, enrollment in the fall semester (the same year as high school graduation) 
    • Scholarship funds will be deposited with the college/university. 
    • The funds will be forfeited if the recipient withdraws from the school or is placed on scholastic probation prior to the receipt of the funds.  The letter verifying the student's full-time status should be received by October 31, 2026.
