Hispanic Federation, in partnership with network members, national partners, and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, will announce a comprehensive legislative advocacy campaign focused on oversight, accountability, and reform of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. The campaign is in response to expanded enforcement actions and the recent passage of H.R. 1, which allocated $170 billion in additional funding for mass deportations.
The coalition will focus on ensuring that ICE protects basic human and civil rights; reforming federal law enforcement protocols; guaranteeing due process; balancing public safety with human rights; enhancing transparency and oversight; and reallocating funding toward humanitarian goals. Please use this toolkit to amplify our message and help us demand Congress implement proper oversight on ICE.
