Judges will be awarding an investment deal that has made headlines with criteria that has had significant impact on the Yorkshire property landscape. Judges will use their wide breadth of knowledge on the property sector to assess the performance of participants but are looking to reward the wider team involved in the transaction. Therefore, please ensure that all participants efforts are included.

Best Office Deal

From new co-working space to re-housing national headquarters, we are looking for the office deal that everyone else wishes they’d done.

Entries for this award will derive from property teams that have completed a noteworthy office property deal during the period 01/03/2025 – 28/02/2026. This could be regarding a letting, sale, lease re-gear or acquisition.

Judges will be awarding an office deal that has made consequential impact on the Yorkshire property landscape. This could be allied to expertise in securing the deal, innovation in the structure of the transaction, or the economic and perceptual impact it will have in years to come. Judges will use their wide breadth of knowledge on the property sector to evaluate the performance of participants but are looking to reward the wider team involved in the transaction.

Best 'Shed' Deal

We might lovingly call them ‘sheds’, but they’re far from the small shacks at the end of our gardens. This award will be going to a true giant of industry.

Judges will be awarding an industrial deal which has made consequential impact on the Yorkshire property landscape. This could be allied to expertise in securing the deal, innovation in the structure of the transaction, or the economic and perceptual impact it will have in years to come. Judges will use their wide breadth of knowledge on the property sector to assess the performance of participants but are looking to reward the wider team involved in the transaction. Therefore, please ensure that all participant efforts are included.

Best Retail & Leisure Deal

From bustling high streets to destination leisure hotspots, this award celebrates the deal that has breathed new life into Yorkshire’s places to shop, eat, relax and play.

Entries for this award will derive from property teams that have completed a noteworthy retail or leisure transaction during the period 01/03/2025 – 28/02/2026. This could include lettings, sales or acquisitions for deals that have secured standout occupiers for a town, city, or scheme.

Judges will be awarding a retail or leisure deal that has made consequential impact on the Yorkshire property landscape. This may be linked to expertise in securing the occupier, creativity in structuring the deal, or the economic, social, or perceptual uplift it delivers to its location. Judges will use their wide breadth of knowledge on the property sector to evaluate the performance of participants but are looking to reward the wider team involved in the transaction, so please ensure all contributions are included.

Best Consultancy Practice

Open to consultancy practices (architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, designers, planners, engineers, advisors etc.) that have consistently demonstrated excellence in delivering first-rate services such as Engineering, cost management design, planning and/or development land, etc.) during the period 01/03/2025 – 28/02/2026.

Judges will be looking for practices that can show unparalleled market knowledge and consistent superiority in its field, with an emphasis on successful problem-solving and value delivery to clients and communities in addition to those that have adopted a successful and sustainable delivery to their day-to-day operations and/or projects. An applications demonstration of outstanding ESG will also be considered.

Best Contractor

In a competitive market where margins are tight and efficiency, innovation and creativity are key, we are looking for the best contractor in the business.

This category is inviting contractors of any size that can demonstrate excellence in the delivery of construction projects, who denote innovation in procurement or delivery of a building or project during the period 01/03/2025 – 28/02/2026. Or, alternatively, a company which operates in this sector and demonstrates their ability to think outside the box in their management of projects or operating procedures, which has a positive impact on the working environment. An applications demonstration of outstanding ESG will also be considered.

Yorkshires. Disrupter

Some projects don’t just stand out – they shake things up. This award celebrates the developments, deals, or initiatives that have pushed boundaries and made everyone in the Yorkshire property market sit up and take notice.

Entries for this award must showcase a project or development delivered during the period 01/03/2025 – 28/02/2026 that has had a material impact on its surrounding environment and/or the wider market. This could include a transformative deal, an innovative development, or a sustainability-led initiative that goes well beyond baseline ESG compliance.

Judges will be awarding a disrupter that has made a consequential and widely recognised contribution to the Yorkshire property landscape. This may stem from exceptional delivery, bold innovation, or the tangible social, economic, or environmental difference it has created. Judges will use their breadth of knowledge on the property sector to assess the performance of participants, but are looking to reward the wider team involved, so please ensure all contributions are included.

Yorkshires. Rising Star

Hard work and innovation are always inspiring, but even more so when it’s seen in a relative newcomer. Be warned: competition will be stiff.

This category aims to reward the industry’s most promising star, working within commercial property in Yorkshire. Applicants can be traditionally trained or not come from a property background at all, as long as they are making an impact on the industry right now.

Open to those under the age of 35 OR those who have joined the industry within the past 10 years. Submissions should detail how the nominee has demonstrated practice exceeding expectations, highlight significant achievements that make them shine, and demonstrate the individuals’ potential to contribute to the industry in the future. This entry can be a nomination from someone else or by the individual themselves.
