This year's Village Christmas event is on Friday, December 4th, 2026 from 5pm-8pm. We extend our invitation to you to join our annual Village Christmas Parade.

 

The theme for 2026 is "Visions of Village Christmas"

 

This year, we will have FIVE cash prize categories:

-Best Fire Truck: $100

-Best Tractor: $100

-Best Themed Entry (Christmas of the Past): $100

-Most Overall Christmas Spirit: $100

-Judge's Choice Award: $200

The cost to participate is FREE!

Our parade coordinator will EMAIL you after signing up with details on where to stage your unit, but you must be onsite (at 7th St and Franklin Street corner) by 6pm at the latest, as the parade begins promptly at 6:30. If you are interested, please read the instructions and fill out the attached form. We hope you can join us on Friday, December 5th!

Reminders:

--NO ALCOHOL CAN BE CONSUMED DURING THE PARADE

--THERE IS ONLY ONE SANTA & MRS CLAUS IN THE PARADE- - YOU CANNOT HAVE A SANTA ON YOUR UNIT

--ITEMS CANNOT BE THROWN FROM PARADE UNITS, BUT CAN BE HANDED OUT

--ARRIVE AT 7TH ST AND FRANKLIN NO LATER THAN 6PM

As a unit signed up for the 2026 Village Christmas Parade, I have read and understand that:

 

-I will NOT have a santa claus on or in my parade unit.

-I will NOT throw candy or have anyone in my unit plan to throw candy. Candy will be handed out directly to attendees if using candy. If I do not follow this rule, I may be subject to immediate dismissal during the parade and not invited back again to particiapte.

- I WILL keep up with the unit ahead of me. I will not stop in front of the judge's stand, or slow down the pace of the parade.
