Guidelines:
1. Scholarships are available to Local 1593 members, their spouse and children. Applicants are eligible to receive this scholarship one time only.
2. Applicants must be enrolled in the second semester of their freshman year of college or higher in any post-secondary institution recognized and certified by the appropriate state agency where the institution is located.
3. Applicants must have a minimum college GPA of 2.5. Please include a copy of your unofficial transcript showing total cumulative college GPA. If you do not include a copy, your application will not be considered.
4. Awards will be paid directly to the recipients.
5. Winners will be selected by random drawing at the March Local meeting held in Hazen at the Union Hall.
6. Applications must be received not later by March 1, 2026.
7. The Local Union will award 5 - $500.00 scholarships.
