This summer ride, learn about, and care for WELCA's favourite quadruped: horses!

WELCA offers a creative and engaging camp experience in the heart of the river valley. When not on horseback you'll spend time feeding horses, having water balloon fights, or adventuring in the great outdoors. Sunscreen and smiles are everywhere, and lifelong memories are captured by our staff and made into a cherished memento on the last day.

WELCA Registration: How it works!

We have a 3 step registration process:

1. Registration: register up to 6 children on this registration form, it is designed to be quick! You will be invoiced after you complete the form for the total price of the camp. Please reach out to info@welca.ca if you are interested in a payment schedule, instead of paying the full balance up front.

2. Waivers: Every rider will need a completed waiver ahead of time. The link to the waivers will be sent to you after the completion of this form.

3. Invoice: Invoices will be sent within 5 business days of registration and will be due 5 days after the invoice is recieved. Invoices will be payable by credit card.

Horse Rider Camp Information

Age: 8-16 years old at the time of the camp
Tentative time for the program:
The camp runs from 8:45am - 4:00pm
Drop-off is from 8:30-8:45am
Pick-up is from 4:00-4:15pm

Price for 5-Day Horse Rider Camp: $760
Price for 4-Day Horse Rider Camp (Aug 4-7 only): $608

Buddy up and SAVE on Horse Rider Camp!
Register more than one rider in a full week camp and save $60 per rider! Adjusted price will be reflected on your invoice.
Pony Up Program Information

Age: 4-8 years old at the time of the camp
Tentative time for the program:
The AM camp runs from 8:45am - 11:45pm.
Drop-off for the AM is from 8:30-8:45am and Pick-up is from 11:45-12:00pm.
The PM camp runs from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Drop-off for the PM is from 12:45-1:00pm and Pick-up is from 4:00-4:15pm.

Price for 5-Day Pony Up Camp: $480

Buddy up and SAVE on Pony Up Camp!

Program Requirements - Participants must be able to have two-way communication with the staff and be physically able to mount their horse from a mounting block. Leaders are only provided for our half-day camps (Pony Up Camp) and we never provide sidewalkers. These are independent camps and do not include parental supervision - camp counsellors will be responsible for campers.*

Cancellation Policy/Non-Refundable Deposit - Cancellation of a WELCA Summer Camp Program can be obtained by emailing info@welca.ca account at least 14 days before the program start date, with refunds of the full amount minus the non-refundable deposit ($200) being refunded to the original card of purchase. Cancellations within the 14 days before the camp are not guaranteed refunds, may be dependent on our ability to fill the cancelled spot, and may result in a credit or admission for a future program (this credit/admission may not equal the total value of the original camp price).*
