Thank you for your willingness to serve as a sponsor in our Confirmation program.

To be a Confirmation sponsor, an individual must be a fully initiated (sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation) Catholic over the age of 16. Faithful attendance at Mass and regular reception of the Eucharist are also prerequisites for serving as a sponsor. Given the importance of the role, sponsors should have a close relationship with their sponsees and feel comfortable discussing issues such as faith, morals, and social justice. Sponsors can not be parents.
