    Eligibility and General Information  

    ∙ Applicants must be planning to attend a Trades School, Junior College or Technical College.  

    ∙ Applicants must be a resident of Macon-Bibb County OR Attend a Macon-Bibb County Public School 

    ∙ Each new applicant will be required to submit a completed scholarship application, submit a headshot and have a recommendation form submitted on their behalf.

    ∙ All application materials must be submitted by the deadline of February 28, 2026.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

    ∙ Awards will be a minimum of $500

    ∙ Notification of awards will be by letter. Award winners will be recognized at the Epsilon Tau Zeta Finer Womahnood Tea Party on March 7, 2026. Certificates of Awards will be presented to  new applicants during the Senior Awards program. 

    ∙ All Awards will be given to the students through a check made payable to the  student. This will take place after verification of the applicant’s enrollment. 

    The Zeta Phi Beta Scholarship Committee will consider all applicants regardless of race, sex, or  nationality.
