Black Foodie Friday

Food & Beverage Exhibitor Application

This is your application to be a food/beverage exhibitor at the Black Foodie Friday Food Tasting & Competition Event at the 2026 Atlanta Black Expo.

This submission does not guarantee approval. Applicatons will be reviewed and approval/denial will be communicated within 48 hours via email. 

If approved, you will receive an 'Acceptance' email with instructions on how to purchase your table.

If denied, you will receive an email with reason and recommendations.

 

Exhibitor Policies:

• Exhibitors must be either black owned or black represented (the company is non-black owned but has black representatives).
• Non-black owned companies/organizations can participate but must have at least one black representative present at the event.
• For the competition, only 2-3 companies per product will be accepted to exhibit. (example: once 3 brownie companies have been accepted, no other brownie companies will be allowed).
• Table sharing of any kind is not permitted.
• All sales are final. There are no refunds.

 Friday, February 20th:

~ Education Day (Speakers/Workshops) (10am-5pm)  

~ Black Foodie Friday Tasting & Competition (5pm-9pm)

 

Saturday, February 21st: 10am-5pm

~ Exhibitor Showcase (10am-5pm)

~ ABE Homecoming Tailgate After Party (5pm-9pm)

 

 Sunday, February 22nd: 10am-5pm

~ Exhibitor Showcase (10am-5pm)

~ Exhibitor load-out (5pm-11:59pm)

What is Black Foodie Friday?

BFF is a food tasting & competition event. Attendees will walk around and taste samples of food/drinks from some of the top culinary professionals in Atlanta. 

Attendees will then vote for their favorites in 4 categories:

Best Savory | Best Sweet | Best Vegan | Best Beverage

The winner of each category will win the following:

~ A $500 cash prize

~ Crowned Best of the 2026 Atlanta Black Expo

~ Marketing and Promotion inclusion

~ Showcased on Saturday & Sunday Expo

~ And more...

 

This event will feature 50+ Black Owned exhibitors. 

This event is open to all types of Black owned food/beverage companies. Here are some examples:

• Savory Food: BBQ, soul food, tacos, Jamaican, pasta, etc. 
• Sweet Food: cookies, cakes, candies, pies, etc. 
• Vegan Food: savory, sweet, etc
• Beverage: teas, lemonades, coffee, water, etc.
• Other: snackes, jams, spreads, etc.

Introducing our

'Community Referral Program'

Here's how it works:

1. Purchase your exhibitor table.

2. We will give you a flyer and a custom discount code. Your code will save an attendee $5 on their entry ticket. Example: It reduces a $35 ticket to $30.

3. Send this flyer/code to your entire community. Invite them to come see you at the event and vote for you.

4. Every attendee that pays using your code, you will receive 50%-100% of whatever they pay. Example: a $35 ticket, they pay $30, you get $30. A $65 ticket, they pay $60, you get $30. 

5. Refer another exhibitor/sponsor, you will receive a referral credit of 20% of their purchase price.

6. After the event, we will let you know how much your credit is. You can use that credit for another event or receive a payment from us for that amount.

Every exhibitor should make at least $1,500+ from this program, on top of the pre-orders you book that day!!!

10x10 booth: $150

10x20 booth: $250 

EXHIBITOR REQUIREMENTS:

~ ServeSafe certification

~ Business license or business insurance

~ Website or social media

~ Food samples - 1500 2oz samples

~ Drink samples - 1500 4oz samples
