Community Conversation Panelist Sign Up Form
  • Community Conversation: Panelists Sign-up Form

  • Alaska has some of the highest suicide rates in the country, and teens and young adults are particularly affected. FWC is hosting this Community Conversation to better understand why that is, and how our community can better support transition-aged youth.

The event will begin with small breakout discussions to give general attendees a chance to design questions, followed by a moderated panel featuring peers and subject matter experts - like you!

As a panelist, you will be invited to answer questions and share your perspective, lived experience, professional insight, or community knowledge in a respectful, supportive setting.

Panelists are not expected to have all the answers, but rather to contribute thoughtfully to an honest, human conversation that centers connection, learning, and prevention. Sharing may include personal reflections, observations from your work or community, lessons learned, or hopes for change.

The insights gathered from both breakout discussions and the panel will be used as qualitative data to help inform future suicide prevention efforts and may be shared publicly in a summarized, de-identified way to support broader community awareness and action.

Participation is voluntary, and panelists will be supported before, during, and after the event. Our goal is to create a space that is trauma informed, respectful, and grounded in care for both those speaking and those listening.
