At Nashi Orchards, guests will explore a serene island farm known for its small-batch, award-winning perry and cider crafted from estate-grown Asian pears and heirloom apples. You’ll enjoy a curated tasting that highlights how thoughtful orchard practices and minimal intervention in the cellar translate into elegant, nuanced libations in the glass.

Next, the tour heads to Shawnee Hill Farm, a cherished Vashon grower and maker whose farmhouse ciders reflect a rolling blend of cider apples grown on their own island orchard. Guests will hear the story of this long-loved family operation, and taste through expressive, small-batch ciders rooted deeply in Vashon’s landscape.
After an afternoon of tasting, touring, and connecting at both properties, you’ll be back in Tacoma in time to refresh and join the official NW Cider Symposium Pre-Party at 5 pm.
