    This application in no way implies or guarantees that space will be offered to you and replaces any previous applications. All applications are subject to review and approval. Selected vendors will be notified by email.

  • SECTION 1: CONCESSIONAIRE INFORMATION

    You are required to submit ONE (1) APPLICATION PER FOOD CONCESSION.

  • SECTION 2: DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • (A) What type of concession is this?*

    *Include hitches, bumpers, vents, signage, marquees and flags.

  • (C) Does your booth require power?*

    For Example: Do you L14-30 twist, 50amp range or standard 110v house plug etc.?

  • (D) Does your booth require potable water?*
  • (E) Do you require grey water service?*

  • (F) HEALTH:

    If you have an annual health permit than please forward it to us as soon as possible.  Vendors who do not have an annual health premit will be required to submit the appropriate temporary health application no later than 3 weeks before the event.

    It is your responsibility to ensure that your concession is properly set up and that you follow the provincial health requirements.  We are not responsible if for any reason your health permit is denied or you fail to meet acceptable standards and/or closed down by the health authority during the event.

            

    (G) FIRE PROTECTION:

    All food vendors will be required to have a current "Lower Mainland" (GVFCA) inspection and decal from an approved fire department.  If you have a grill or deep fryer your hood systems must be clean and have an inspection tag dated in the last 6 months. All concessions must have a 10lb ABC extinguisher with current annual inspection tag.  

     (H) INSURANCE:

    Applicant must have minimum of 5 million liability insurance coverage.  Certificate required upon applicants’ approval.  It should include the following as additionally insured:

     

    *   Abbotsford Agrifair, 32470 Haida Dr, Abbotsford, BC 

    *   City of Abbotsford, 32315 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC

    *   School District 34, 31759 King Rd, Abbotsford, BC

    *   Savi Integrated Marketing, 464 Wilson Street, New Westminster, BC

     

    (I) SUSTAINABILITY AND SERVICEWARE: 

    This is a green event.  It is requested that you provide customers with wooden utensils, paper straws and to not use foil or foil lined wrappers.   The sales or distribution on single-use plastic bottles, straws or plastic bags is not allowed.

  • This application in no way implies or guarantees that a space will be offered to you.  All applications are subject to review and approval.  An agreement will be sent to all successful applicants.  Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email.

    Financial Terms:  A minimum rent of $735.00, per concession, will be charged or 25% of your gross sales, which ever is greater.

    A deposit of $735 is required to secure your spot once you have been notified that you have been selected to participate.  GST included.  NO REFUNDS if concessionaire is non-compliant with Abbotsford Agrifair, City of Abbotsford, Abbotsford Fire Department or the Fraser Health Authority.  Vendors will be required to provide proof of $5 Million in liability insurance.
