Devil Dogs WDC and K.C. Working Dogs Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Agreement to Hold Harmless
I understand that attendance or participation at a dog training program or trial may involve some risk to myself, my dog, members of my family, or guests who may attend. This is because some of the dogs to which I/they will be exposed, as well as my own dog, may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care. While I am present at Camp Claircrest, 4 Paws N Sync, Nickie’s Sauces, Soups and Pizzas, Nickie Hertzog, KC Working Dogs, and Devil Dogs WDC training activities, and/or in consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training, I hereby waive and release all above-mentioned parties, its employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all liability of any nature for injury or damage, losses, or expenses, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, which I or my dog may suffer. This includes, without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the actions of any dog(s). I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session or any other function of the above-referenced parties while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless Camp Claircres, 4 Paws N Sync, Nickie’s Sauces, Soups and Pizzas, Nickie Hertzog, KC Working Dogs, and Devil Dogs WDC, its employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims, including claims by any member of my family or any person accompanying me to any training session or function of the above-mentioned parties, or while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto, as a result of any action by any dog, including my own. I shall personally assume all responsibility and liability for any loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or property by the actions of my own dog while participating in a dog training program or function, or while on the grounds or surrounding area thereto. “My dog” in the above statement means any dog in my custody upon approaching the training grounds or adjacent areas.
I agree that any dog brought to the training sessions or other functions will have any and all immunization shots required by local enforcement authorities.
