時序歲末年盡，農曆新春將至，北卡佛光山特舉辦「春節平安燈會」，祝福大家在新的一年，吉祥如意！平安燈又稱福田燈，於正月新春期間供奉，意在「迎新歲，納吉祥。」信眾點燃一盞平安燈即是種一福田，布施光明，與大眾結緣。
本寺將於2026年2月16日起，啟建《除夕辭歲普佛》、《新春平安燈上燈法會》、《新春禮千佛法會》等，並舉辦燒年香、新春佛光年宵等活動。祈願所有大眾在新的一年都能福慧增長、平安吉祥。屆時歡迎闔府蒞臨，捻香祝禱，同霑法益！

Dear Dharma Protectors and Devotees,
Warm Lunar New Year greetings to you all! As the year draws to a close and the Lunar New Year approaches, Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple, NC will be holding a Lunar New Year Peace Lantern Festival, extending blessings for peace, harmony, and auspiciousness in the coming year. The Peace Lantern, also known as a Field of Blessings Lantern, is offered during the Lunar New Year as a symbol of welcoming the new year and inviting good fortune. Beginning February 16, the temple will host the following Lunar New Year Dharma services and activities. We sincerely pray that in the new year, everyone may experience increased blessings and wisdom, peace, and well-being.
