Mutton Busting League – Year Two!
After an overwhelmingly successful first year, the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds is excited to welcome everyone back for Year Two of our Mutton Busting League! What started as a way to give more kids the opportunity to participate quickly grew into a fun-filled series that captured true cowboy spirit and community pride.
Year One was packed with excitement, smiles, and unforgettable moments. We are proud to recognize Ryker Lanier, who took home the Championship Buckle, and Mason McCoy, who earned the Reserve Championship Buckle after winning first place at two series events — an incredible accomplishment!
As we head into Year Two, our focus remains the same: fun, sportsmanship, and building confidence in our young riders while celebrating western traditions. We can’t wait to see familiar faces, welcome new buckaroos, and make even more memories in the arena.
Here’s to another year of fun, grit, and cowboy spirit — saddle up and let’s ride!
