  • Winter 2026 OCSB Programs Waitlist: February 2nd - April 2nd, 2026

    You are putting your child on the waitlist for one of our OCSB programs: Franco-Fun, Reading Circle, and Vive La Parole. The programs will begin the week of Monday, February 2nd and run once a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays until Thursday, April 2nd, 2026. Each program is 45 minutes long. These programs are for students who are a part of the Ottawa Catholic School Board and will be led by a Teacher Candidate from Nipissing, York or Wilfrid Laurier University. There will be no programs running the week of February 16-19 for our program leaders' University Reading Week and March 16-19 for March Break. Please note that by signing up on this waitlist, you will only be contacted if a spot becomes available in one of our programs.

    Franco-Fun is a virtual program for students in Grades 1-8 enrolled in Core French, Extended French, Middle Immersion, and French Immersion. Please note that students must be enrolled in a French as a Second Language (FSL) program in school. Participants will take part in games and activities online to improve their French all while having fun and making new friends!

    Reading Circle is a virtual program for students in Grades 1-8 enrolled in Core French, Extended French, Middle Immersion, and French Immersion. Please note that students must be enrolled in a French as a Second Language (FSL) program in school. Participants will chat with new friends and have fun learning new words, reading books, and playing games to expand their conversational skills.

    Vive La Parole is a virtual program for students in Grades 7-12 Core French, Extended French, Middle Immersion, and French Immersion. Please note that students must be enrolled in a French as a Second Language (FSL) program in school. Participants will improve their fluency in French, practice their oral French skills, meet new people, and get the opportunity to share ideas, discuss current issues, play games, and more!

    Please note, students registered in the wrong grade level may not be admitted.
  • Please select the sessions for which you would like to put your child on the waitlist. All programs run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays each week from February 2 to April 2, 2026.
