DanceMouse Mossel Bay – Terms & Conditions
Effective for 2026
By enrolling your dancer with DanceMouse Mossel Bay, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Enrolment & Registration
• A completed enrolment form is required for all dancers.
• An annual, non-refundable registration fee of R160 applies to all dancers.
• Enrolment is confirmed once registration and fees are processed.
2. Fees & Payments
• Dance fees are invoiced termly or quarterly and are payable in advance.
• Payments may be split monthly over the term by prior arrangement.
• All accounts must be settled in full by the final day of the term.
• Fees are reviewed annually and may increase.
• Proof of payment must be sent if requested.
3. Uniforms
• Dance uniform purchase is compulsory.
• Uniforms are ordered only once full payment is received.
• Delivery can take 3–4 weeks, depending on stock availability.
• Size exchanges must be arranged via admin.
• No uniforms will be issued without payment.
4. Attendance & Missed Classes
• Fees are not refundable or transferable for:
◦ Absences
◦ Public holidays
◦ School holidays
• If a teacher is unavailable, a replacement or rescheduled class may be arranged where possible.
5. Communication
• Communication is primarily via WhatsApp groups.
• It is the parent’s responsibility to:
◦ Provide correct contact details
◦ Notify admin of any changes
• DanceMouse Mossel Bay is not responsible for missed communication due to incorrect or outdated details.
6. Graduation & Events
• The Pre-Primary Graduation is compulsory.
• Graduation fees are added to the Term 2 invoice.
• If a dancer cannot attend the graduation event, a participation pack will be provided in class.
7. Reports
• Mid-year and year-end progress reports are issued.
• Errors must be reported to admin for correction.
8. Cancellations & Termination
• A minimum of 60 days written notice is required for cancellation.
• Notice may not be given in the final term.
• Teachers do not handle enrolments or cancellations.
• Failure to provide proper notice may result in additional charges.
9. Liability & Injury
• Dance involves physical activity, and participation is at the dancer’s own risk.
• DanceMouse Mossel Bay is not liable for injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence as defined by law.
• Parents confirm that dancers are medically fit to participate.
10. Photography, Video & POPI
• Permission is granted for photographs or videos taken at events to be used for reports, certificates, and promotional purposes.
• Personal information is handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
• Details may be shared with relevant service providers (e.g. instructors, printers, communication platforms).
11. General
• These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
• DanceMouse Mossel Bay reserves the right to update these terms with reasonable notice.
• In the event of lockdowns or unforeseen disruptions, classes may continue online where applicable.
