We (the participant, parent, and/or legal guardian) hereby permit the Urban League of San Diego County, its employees, and agents to take and use photographic, video, digital, or audio images of the conferee. Visual/audio images are any type of recording, including but not limited to photographs, digital images, drawings, renderings, voices, sounds, video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions. The Urban League of San Diego County will not alter the original images materially. I understand that the Urban League of San Diego County owns the images and all rights related to them.
The images may be used in any manner or media without notifying me, such as education, information, promotion, public relations, websites, broadcasts, advertisements, posters, and fundraising. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images or any printed or electronic matter that may be used with them. I understand that I will receive NO PAYMENT for the use of
images in which I appear.
I release the Urban League of San Diego County, its employees, and agents, including any firm authorized to publish and or distribute a finished product containing the images, form, and any claims, damages, or liability that I may ever have in connection with the taking of and use of the images or printed material used with the images.
WAIVER & RELEASE: COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY FACILITIES
1) We (the participant, parent, and/or legal guardian) agree to abide by the College/University’s policies governing the use of the College/University’s facilities. We understand that violating these policies will result in our participant being removed from College/University property. We shall cooperate in all matters of this kind.
2) We (the participant, parent, and/or legal guardian) understand that any personal belongings brought on campus are not the responsibility of the College/University or the Urban League of San Diego County. These items are not covered by the College/University’s or Urban League of San Diego County's insurance.
3) We (the participant, parent, and/or legal guardian) agree to release, waive, discharge, agree not to sue, and agree to hold harmless for any and all purposes the College/University and its governing board, officers, employees, students, agents, and volunteers (“Releasees”) from any and all claims, suits, actions or demands (including without limitation, reasonable attorneys fees and expenses of
such attorneys) of any character for loss, damage or injury to person, or property, including bodily or personal injury or death, in any way arising out of or resulting from the use of College/University property or facilities by National Urban League, UL’s staff or Program participants. This release does not apply to injuries caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct on the part of the
College/University.
