Badgerland Council Scholarship Application 2026

Badgerland Council is offering several scholarship opportunities in 2026. The following application will qualify you for every Badgerland Scholarship. You will be entered into consideration for all scholarships you qualify for.
The Badgerland Girl Scouts of Distinction scholarships may be dispersed through financial scholarship, support for technological needs, or support for other expenses. All financial scholarships will be paid directly to your educational institution, while other payments will be coordinated through either direct purchase of supplies or reimbursement of expenses. All payment details will be shared once the finalists have been chosen.
All answers in this application will be scored by a committee of reviewers and the applicants who score the highest will be offered financial support. The essays will be scored on a scale with a possible maximum total of 100 points. The scores will be weighted as follows:

*You are a currently registered Badgerland Girl Scout. - 5 Points
*You have completed one or more Highest Awards. - 5 Points
*G.P.A. - 5 Points
*You have described your after High School plans. - 5 Points
*Described a meaningful Girl Scout experience. - 20 Points
*Described how you will use your Girl Scout experiences in the future. - 20 Points
*Listed your other Girl Scout accomplishments. - 10 Points
*Told us about your after High School expenses. - 10 Points
*Explained your thoughtful plans for meeting your after High School expenses. - 10 Points
*You have extenuating or special financial circumstances to consider. - 10 Points

Insight into thoughtful connections between your future plans and what you learned in Girl Scouts is valued the most. Financial need will also be considered when choosing finalists.
The application deadline is February 10, 2026. All finalists will be notified of their awards starting March 14, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be celebrated at the Leading the Way Celebration on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
