Event Information
Join the Fletcher Team as we support the Bayou Lafourche Cleanup hosted by BTNEP! This is a community cleanup event that aims to remove litter from the whole of Bayou Lafourche. Wear your 'get dirty' clothes and comfy shoes! Cleanup supplies will be provided.

Faculty, staff, and students: please sign-up for the BTNEP sponsored 2026 Bayou Lafourche Cleanup (Saturday, 18 April 2026) by noon on Wednesday, 15 April 2026. Pre-registration is required.

This event runs from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and will clean Bayou Lafourche from Donaldsonville to Leeville. The Fletcher team will clean near the E.D. White Historic Site on LA 1, just north of Thibodaux. The address is here: 2295 St Mary St, Thibodaux, LA 70301. Parking is available on the bayouside of LA1 at this site, and there is additional parking near the house.

As a part of pre-registration, all volunteers must agree to a waiver (see below). More details will be e-mailed to registered volunteers on 16 April 2026.

Pre-registered volunteers may receive a t-shirt. If t-shirt supplies run-out, BTNEP may place another t-shirt order but this is not guaranteed.
