InventHERs – Inspiring Tomorrow’s Engineers
  • InventHERs – Inspiring Tomorrow’s Engineers

  • Come to Akron Children’s Museum for an exciting FREE workshop series designed for middle school girls! Guided by experienced mentors, and with support from our friends at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, participants will dive into collaborative, team-based engineering and design challenges.

InventHERs – Inspiring Tomorrow’s Engineers is made possible by the Akron Women’s Endowment Fund through a partnership between Akron Children’s Museum and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. This workshop series is part of a broader initiative to ignite curiosity, confidence, and a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among young girls.

All workshops take place at Akron Children’s Museum and are held over six consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 am–1:00 pm:

    *February 28
    *March 7
    *March 14
    *March 21
    *March 28
    *April 4

To maximize the impact and ensure a cohesive learning experience, participants are strongly encouraged to commit to attending all six sessions, as each workshop builds upon concepts introduced in previous weeks.

Uncover the excitement of engineering, build leadership skills, and turn your ideas into reality as we explore The Power of Air together!

Be part of this inspiring journey starting in February—we can’t wait to invent with you.
