RHEMA/RBTC bears no liability whatsoever for damage, theft, or loss of personally owned laptops/devices, attached peripheral devices, or data thereupon. RHEMA/RBTC accepts no responsibility for the safety or operation of your equipment. While on-site, your computer should be kept in your possession and should not be loaned to other students. RHEMA/RBTC is not liable for damage and/or loss of the hardware, software, assignments, etc.
Laptops/Devices may be used during class in compliance with all published and announced school rules.
You may use them to:
- Review course curriculum.
- Take notes and do school assignments.
- Look up Scriptures.
- Watch any virtual session provided to you by RBTC.
You may not use them to:
- Play games/movies/music, etc., during class.
- Record class sessions onto the laptop/device without prior written consent.
- Distract you or other students.
Recommendations:
- Regularly back-up your data, and print out a hard copy (on paper) of all notes taken.
- Charge your laptop/device prior to class. While on-site, plugging your laptop/device into a power outlet is generally discouraged because of the liability toward the laptop/device and toward people that may trip on the charging cables. We cannot guarantee that an electrical plug-in will be available to you.
RHEMA/RBTC reserves the right to randomly inspect and disallow the on-site use of a laptop/device at any time.
