    APPLICATION
  • The Estrella Award honors an association leader who has made a significant and lasting impact on the growth and advancement of their association and the association profession.

  • Eligibility

    • Sustained, positive leadership over a period of more than five years.
    • Leadership experience must be current and demonstrated within an association, nonprofit organization, or association management company.
    • The five years of leadership experience do not need to be with the same association, nonprofit organization, or association management company.
    • Members of the Association Latinos (AL) Board, the AL Awards & Recognition Committee, awards judges, and past recipients of this award are not eligible to be nominated.
    • Members of the AL Board, the AL Awards & Recognition Committee and awards judges are not eligible to nominate or endorse others.
    • Self-nominations are accepted for this award.
