      ROLE PURPOSE: 

      We are seeking a dynamic and strategic senior executive to serve as Head of Corporate Partnerships in our Fundraising Department. This role will drive revenue growth by cultivating impactful partnerships and engagement with corporations and foundations through our events, programmes and other relevant organizational activities. In addition, this role will supervise and manage all events of the organization from sponsorship engagement to execution. 
       
      KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: 
      1. Strategic Planning and Innovation 

      • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for corporate & foundation engagement and event fundraising and execution, with targeted revenue and KPI to be agreed with CEO and SMT. 
      • Collect and analyze relevant market information and provide suggestions to  CEO and SMT. 
      • Review and streamline the existing corporate engagement model.
      • Review and develop event plans for the organization. 
      • Develop major gift sector planning and execution. 

      2. Prospect Development and Stewardship

      • Identify, solicit, and steward major gifts and grants from corporations, foundations, and family offices, including proposal writing and negotiation of multi-year commitments.
      • Build and maintain a portfolio of high-value prospects, conducting regular meetings, site visits, and presentations to secure funding. 
      • Plan and execute targeted fundraising events, such as corporate networking receptions, foundation briefings, or impact showcases, to engage prospects and deepen partnerships. 
      • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and partnerships. 

      3. Team Leadership and Collaboration 

      • Lead a team of approximately 5 fundraising professionals, providing mentorship, performance management, and professional development. 
      • Collaborate with program teams to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities, ensuring proposals reflect impact and return. 
      • Collaborate with other department to ensure fundraising efficiency and effectiveness 

      4. Compliance, Reporting and budget management 

      • Oversee compliance with grant reporting requirements and maintain accurate records for all interactions.
      • Monitor the department budget and report on fundraising metrics to senior management.
      • Monitor and streamline the donor database, the relevant tools and the proper use of such database to achieve effective fundraising. 

      QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field; 
      • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in fundraising or related discipline, including at least 5 years focused on corporate and/or foundation relations. Experience in a nonprofit or higher education setting is a plus. 
      • Proven track record in philanthropy, relationship building, and innovative fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission. 

      SKILLS

      • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and cross-functional collaborations. 
      • Excellent communication and writing skills, including crafting compelling proposals and presentations for executive audiences. 
      • Proficiency in fundraising tools. 
      • Strategic thinker with analytical skills to evaluate funding landscapes and measure impact.
