      Role Overview  
      As a key member of the Marketing and Communications team, reporting to the Head of the Team, this role is responsible for developing and implementing integrated branding, marketing and communications strategies to strengthen awareness, reputation and support for Save the Children Hong Kong. The position collaborates closely with internal teams, global offices, agencies and external stakeholders to delivery impactful campaigns, compelling content and media engagement that reflect and advance the organisation’s mission.
       
      Key Responsibilities  

      • Develop and implement annual marketing and communications strategies and integrated branding campaigns (online and offline) to strengthen brand awareness, engagement and support for the organisation while safeguarding brand equity.

      • Lead corporate communications and reputation management, including strategy and policy development, issue/crisis management, line-to-take, key messages, Q&As, internal communications and executive communications, to enhance the organisation’s credibility and trust.

      • Oversee PR strategy and editorial plan, supervise media relations, pitching materials, press kits, Q&As and briefing notes, and provide support to spokespersons for interviews and public appearances.

      • Lead integrated content planning across social media, eDMs, multimedia, websites, events and publications, ensuring consistent and compelling messages aligned with organisational priorities.

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, celebrities, influencers and key external stakeholders to secure quality coverage and partnerships that support organisation goals.

      • Act as brand safe-guarder, provide strategic communications support for other teams, co-creating campaigns, publications and materials that drive stakeholder engagement and brand recognition.

      • Coordinate localisation of global campaigns and materials, adapting global assets and messages for the Hong Kong audience to ensure cultural relevance, maximise impact while maintaining brand and advocacy alignment.

      • Manage agencies and external vendors, budgets and timelines, and regularly evaluate the impact and ROI of marketing and communications activities for continuous improvement.

      • Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned.

        
      Qualifications & Experience  

      • University degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline.

      • At least 10 years’ relevant experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, or integrated communications, with at least 2 years’ of management experience.

      • Solid experience in campaign planning and execution across digital and traditional channels, with strong copywriting and content development skills in English and Chinese.

      • Proven media relations experience with strong news sense, sound judgement and issue management experience; NGO or social sector experience is an advantage.

      • Experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing and basic analytics.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese.

      • Strong project management, organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

      • A collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented and can-do attitude.

      • Passion for children’s rights and the mission of Save the Children, with high standards of integrity and accountability.
