Puppy Application Form

We occasionally offer select puppies through our Guardian Program. This program allows approved families to care for one of our dogs while working closely with Most Wanted Kennel. The purpose of this program is to help us responsibly continue and preserve our bloodlines, while ensuring our breeding dogs are raised in loving family homes. By participating, you become part of the Most Wanted journey.

All Guardian arrangements are discussed individually and are governed by a separate, tailored contract to ensure clarity and fairness for all parties.

Female Guardians
Female dogs will be required to return to Most Wanted Kennel when they reach breeding age (over 2 years) for insemination. Following insemination, the dog will return to you for pregnancy. When it is time to whelp, the dog will return to our kennel for the birth and early puppy care period, which may be up to 8 weeks, before being returned to you.

Male (Stud) Guardians
Male dogs are required, once of breeding age (over 2 years), to either attend veterinary collection appointments or return to our kennel for natural breeding, depending on what is most appropriate for the breeding program.

Support & Logistics
Pickup and return options are available for Guardian dogs through our pet delivery service, ensuring the process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Incentives
Guardians will receive a commission or incentive for participating in the program. Details vary depending on the individual arrangement and will be fully explained prior to any agreement.

We work alongside our in-house trainer, Protect & Serve K9, who has over 25 years of experience and is a certified multi-discipline dog behaviourist. Our trainer has worked extensively with dogs for Victoria Police, military, corrections, special operations, and specialist task forces.

Early training and foundational development are implemented with our dogs while they are in our care to ensure they leave us confident, stable, and well-prepared for family life.

We can arrange puppy training classes tailored to your needs, including group sessions for socialisation or individual 1 on 1 training for more personalised support. Training options are designed to suit each puppy and family and can be discussed once your puppy is confirmed.

We also offer in-house boarding exclusively for our puppies when families travel or require care. As your puppy’s breeder, we already know their routine, temperament, diet, and individual needs, allowing us to provide a familiar, low-stress environment while you’re away.

Our in-house boarding ensures your puppy is cared for by the same team who raised them, giving you peace of mind that they are in experienced and trusted hands.

We offer local, in-house door-to-door transport for puppies, providing a safe and stress-minimised delivery directly to your home. This service is available at an additional cost and is ideal for families who prefer a seamless handover experience.

For interstate families, we can also arrange flights and travel logistics on your behalf. Interstate transport is available at an additional cost when booked through us and includes coordination to ensure your puppy travels safely and comfortably.

  • Placement on the waitlist does not secure a specific puppy, gender, colour, coat type, or litter.

  
  • Chihuahua puppies from Most Wanted Kennel have a base price starting at $3,500 AUD.

  
  • Puppies with rarer or more exotic colours, patterns, bloodlines, or coat types may be priced up to $5,500 AUD, depending on availability and individual characteristics.

  
  • If offered a puppy, a $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve that puppy and remove it from public availability.

  
  • Deposits are only requested once a suitable puppy is offered and accepted and are not required at the time of application.

  • We also offer an optional Exclusive Paid Waitlist. Participation in this list is not required but provides priority consideration for upcoming litters. Fees associated with the Exclusive Waitlist contribute directly toward the significant upfront costs involved in ethical breeding, including but not limited to artificial insemination, progesterone testing, ultrasounds, X-rays, veterinary care, transportation, and stud fees. Placement on this list does not guarantee a puppy but allows us to responsibly plan and fund upcoming breeding programs.
