  • Dear Friend,

    Thank you for your interest in Calvary Academy. We are honored that you are prayerfully considering our school for your family. In the pages that follow, you will find our student application along with important information about our history, mission, statement of faith, and educational philosophy. We encourage you to take time to review these materials carefully before beginning the application.

    Calvary Academy exists to partner with families who desire to raise children who love the Lord, know His Word, and live it out in every area of life. Our goal is to provide a Christ-centered, academically strong, and relationally rich environment where students are discipled, challenged, and equipped to use their gifts for God’s glory.

  • CRITERIA FOR STUDENT ADMISSION

    1. A clear profession of faith in Jesus Christ from at least one parent of the applicant.
    2. Regular attendance at a Bible-believing church three times a month.
    3. Parents understand and commit to the purpose of Calvary Academy which provides children with a Christ-centered education acknowledging the Lordship of Jesus Christ in every subject taught and every area of living.
    4. Parents commit to support the work of the school through regular prayer, participation in school activities, and attending at least two of the three quarterly parent meetings.
    5. Applicants provide past evidence of emotional stability and a satisfactory record of behavior and attendance.

    ADMISSION PROCEDURE

    1. Complete tour of Calvary Academy.
    2. Submit completed application.
    3. Based on CA’s Criteria for Student Admission, the administration reviews the application to establish compatibility.
    4. Family interview with an administrator and Pastor Shawn is scheduled.
    5. Interview process includes:
      a. Discussion of the family’s faith journey, including testimony from the student when appropriate. We understand many elementary-aged children are still growing in their personal understanding of faith, so primary emphasis will be placed on the parent(s)’ profession of faith in Christ and their commitment to faithfully guide and disciple their child in biblical truth.
      b. Church affiliation
      c. Academic review
      d. Disciplinary review
      e. Get acquainted
    6. After the interview process, the administration team prayerfully confirms if the family and student have met the criteria required for acceptance.
