Castle Island offers Four Tuition Tiers on a sliding scale to maximize equity and accessibility to our world-class Montessori education, meeting our school’s mission.

Support Access for All with Tier 4. This tuition is an elective tier to help balance the tuition investments made across our community to ensure maximized access to the world-class Montessori education Castle Island provides. This tier is based on tuition averages from area private schools, contributing to the financial health and stability of our school community.

Limited scholarships available for children ages 3 - 4 years.

The school is required to submit anonymous identifying information of the student body to the New York State Education Department each October. We are asked for the number of (un-named) children who identify with the following race categories:

As a language immersion school, we are particularly interested in the languages spoken at home, by the adults and by the child. We invite you to answer the question about languages spoken at home completely.

ENROLLMENT PREFERENCES

PREFERENCIAS DE INSCRIPCIÓN
The Toddler, Early Childhood, Elementary and Adolescence Program Levels encompass multi-year Academic Curriculum Cycles; and, the Early Childhood Program for children ages 3 through 6 years old includes the kindergarten year. Each program level works best when children remain enrolled through to completion of the Academic Curriculum Cycle for each:

Toddler: Ages 15 - 36 months
Early Childhood: Ages 3 to 6, including the Kindergarten Year
Lower Elementary: Grades 1 - 3
Upper Elementary: Grades 4 - 6
Adolescence: Grades 7 - 8

We anticipate adding an Adolescence Program for Grades 7 & 8 in the near future.
