    Tennessee Senior Olympics
  • The Tennessee Senior Olympics Board of Directors realizes that circumstances may arise (medical or otherwise) to prevent an athlete from attending a district event.  Many of our sports require district participation in order to advance to the state finals.  If this was an impossibility, please read the steps below as all district qualifying opportunities for the 2026 state finals have taken place.

    1.  Please complete this form and it will be reviewed by our board of directors.

    2.  The Tennessee Senior Olympics does not guarantee that your hardship situation
    will be granted.

    3.  If your hardship is approved by our board of directors, you will be notified via email at which time you will be required to submit a $25 district waiver fee (unless a district registration has already been submitted).  Please allow at least two (2) weeks to receive a response.

    4.  This form must be submitted to the TSO office by the following deadlines. See below.    

    June Events: May 1; Pickleball: July 1

    NOTE:  If you are a FIRST-TIME participant (never participated in a district games or state finals before, you receive a one-time district exemption and this form is not required.  

    Also, OPEN SPORTS do not require district participation.  Open sports:

    Basketball 3x3/Basketball Skill Events
    Billiards
    Cornhole
    Cycling
    Disc Golf
    Golf Scramble
    Pole Vault
    Powerlifting
    Road Races (5K/10K)
    Triple Jump
    Volleyball
    Walks- One Mile Power Walk; 5K Race Walk

    Any sport NOT offered at your district
